Student council
The student council is a central STV organ that cooperates closely with the spokesperson council to carry out tasks at hand. This is achieved through monthly meetings as well as working groups, projects, and committees on various topics.
The council consists of members of the student bodies council (= representation of the individual student bodies), the two student senators and 20 directly elected members. During the annual THWS elections, the council is elected for one year. Its term of office starts at 01 October.
In the so-called constituent meeting at the start of the new term of office and under the authority of the THWS president, the council elects a chairperson and assigns offices (see right or below):
