The social affairs department is responsible for social issues and represents the STV in this area.
The responsibilities include:
Mobility, Studierendenwerk (student services, canteens (Mensa), housing, other services) and International students.

Working group "Mobility WÜ"
The working group "Mobilität Wü" (mobility in Würzburg) collects and drafts proposals, ideas and concepts on student mobility at the Würzburg location.
Working group "Mobility SW"
The working group "Mobilität SW" (mobility in Schweinfurt) collects and drafts proposals, ideas and concepts on student mobility at the Schweinfurt location.
Diversity and Equal Opportunities Representatives
The Diversity and Equal Opportunities Representatives are in charge of equal opportunities, diversity, and equality.

Health Representatives
The health representatives serve as the student body’s delegates on the Health Advisory Board, which, among other things, oversees the Gesund Studieren (healthy studying) project.
