Committees of 6 (6er-Gremien)

The committees of 6 ("6er-Gremien") decide on the allocation of study grants, i.e. grants THWS receives from the Bavarian State Ministry to improve teaching.
Each faculty has their own committee of six consisting of three professors and three students (faculty councillors and one additional person). The committees decide on the allocation of a part of the grants to the individual faculties. A central committee of 6 allocates the remaining grants across the entire University. They meet once a year at the end of the summer semester. It consists of the THWS President, two deans, the student senators and the chair of the student council.
